Non-Degree Seeking Student Registration Form

Non-degree-seeking students should complete the registration form below within the first ten instructional days of the semester.

    Non-degree seeking students include:

    1. Auditors - Faculty and staff of The Claremont Colleges (not enrolled as degree-seeking students) may register for Scripps courses as Auditors during the add period (first ten instructional days of the semester) as part-time, non-matriculating students on a space-available basis and only with instructor permission.
      • Science courses, seminar courses, Core, writing, studio art, and music performance/ensemble classes may not be audited.
      • A grade of "AU" is recorded for successfully audited courses. Instructors have the option of dropping auditors who attend fewer than half of the class meetings, and such dropped courses will not appear on the transcript.
      • Auditors do not earn course credit, and letter-grading is not available.

    2. High school students - Scripps allows a maximum of two high school guests per semester from area high schools in Claremont, Upland, Montclair, and Pomona. High school guests pay $100 per course.

Attendance at Scripps as a high school student does not obligate the College in any way to accept the student as a degree-seeking student should the student choose to apply. On-campus housing and financial aid are not available to high school students.

    3. Napier Co-Learners

    4. Spelman College Domestic Exchange Students
